Pastor Terry graduated from Liberty University in 1985 and their Seminary in 1988. He then moved to Miami, Florida, where he began his teaching career at the Northwest Christian Academy teaching Sixth Grade.

Pastor Terry and Polly met when they were teenagers at Greenbush Street Baptist Church here in Lafayette and were married there on December 28, 1990.

After getting married, they lived in Hollywood, Florida. Terry then was promoted to Assistant Principal in charge of the Elementary at Northwest. They moved to Lynchburg, Virginia, working for a Christian company for four years before returning home to Lafayette to work here at Good Shepherd in June of 2003.

They have been blessed with three children—Amanda and her husband Cody, Erin, and Steven.

Pastor Terry enjoys studying, reading, time with family. He is an avid Purdue fan as well as a Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan.
